Sterling Silver

We craft all our silversmithed jewellery with high-quality, recycled 925 sterling silver. With a little care, your pieces will stay beautiful for years.
Wear It Often: The natural oils in your skin help prevent tarnish, keeping your silver shiny!
Showering: Occasional showers won't cause lasting damage, but it's best to dry your jewelry thoroughly afterward.
Pools & Hot Tubs: Avoid chlorine, as it can cause tarnish. If you forget, simply clean with warm, soapy water and pat dry.
Chemicals: Apply makeup, lotions, and perfumes before putting on your jewellery to prevent tarnishing.
DIY Cleaning Tip: Mix 2 parts water with 1 part baking soda to form a paste. Gently scrub your jewelry with an old toothbrush in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Gold Vermeil

Gold vermeil is a special high quality plating. We create the piece using a base of sterling silver then it is plated with 2.5 microns of 22K gold. These are the strict standards that make old vermeil far superior to regular gold plating.

Care for gold vermeil:
Stay out of water: remove before showering or swimming.
Chemicals: Apply makeup, lotions, and perfumes before putting on your jewellery to prevent tarnishing.
DIY Cleaning Tip: Mix warmwater & dish soap. Gently scrub your jewelry with an old toothbrush in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Gold Fill

Gold filled jewellery is hypoallergenic so ideal for those with sensitive skin. It is made of 5% solid gold & bonded onto a base layer which is generally sterling silver. It is safe to wear in non-chlorinated water.

Care for Gold Fill Jewellery:

Polish your jewellery with a polishing cloth to maintain shine.
It is safe to wear in the water but avoid harsh chemicals such as chlorine, perfumes & lotions.
Rinse with warm water after swimming in the ocean.

Solid Gold

If you select a solid gold piece from our collection, you can rest assured it is made with 18K solid gold alloy.

Care for solid gold jewellery:

Avoid harsh chemicals, perfumes & lotions
Store separately to other pieces to avoid scratches.

Solid gold can get dull from every day wear, oils, dirt & lotions. To keep it shining and bright, we recommend cleaning your solid gold every few weeks by soaking them in mild soap & water for 10 - 15 minutes then use a soft brush to brush away any dirt or residue, then pat dry with a cloth.
